BIO.

I'm a Brooklyn based actor/singer/writer.  I create solo performance projects that incorporate documentary storytelling and original music.

My most recent projects include From These Streets I Rise, based on interviews I conducted with individuals struggling with homelessness, and The Keening Revival, a music-based performance project exploring the experience of grief. I have several new projects in the works.  Check out my New Works page for updates.

I'm a classically trained singer most at home singing old time music. As a songwriter I’m drawn to the theatrical. I love making junk noise from household appliances and turning it into music.

My biggest musical influences are Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Fiona Apple, Jacques Brel, Sarah Vaughan.

After graduating from NYU/ Tisch (Playwright's Horizons), I spent 15 years in NYC devising new works with various independent theater collectives before relocating to Portland, OR, where I spent a decade working as a psychiatric social worker and therapist.

Now back in Brooklyn I’m beyond excited to have the opportunity to immerse myself back into the NY theatre + film scene. When not creating things, I work as a therapist in private practice.
