I'm a singer/actor/writer based in Portland, OR. I write songs and make music videos for kicks. Sometimes people watch them. I discovered audio/ video editing software during the pandemic, and now I can’t stop making things.
Voice is my primary medium. I also enjoy making junk noise from household appliances and seeing if I can turn it into music. My biggest musical influences are Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Fiona Apple, Jacques Brel, Sarah Vaughan, Joni Mitchell, and Gazelle Twin.
I started off in musical theater, studied classical voice, and moved to NYC at 18 certain I'd be the next Barbra Streisand . That didn't go as planned,
I received my BFA in Acting from NYU and MSW from Hunter College, NY. In 2012 I relocated to Oregon with my husband after living in NYC for 15 years. When I'm not creating things I work as a therapist in private practice.
