BIO.

I'm an actor/singer/writer based in Portland, OR. I create solo performance projects that incorporate documentary story telling and original music.

My most recent project, created in partnership with Street Roots, was based on interviews I conducted with individuals struggling with homelessness. Several new works are currently in development.

I’m a classically trained singer most at home singing old time music. As a songwriter I’m drawn to the theatrical. I love making junk noise from household appliances and turning it into music. I discovered audio/ video editing software during the pandemic and now I can’t stop making things.

My biggest musical influences are Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Fiona Apple, Jacques Brel, Sarah Vaughan, & Joni Mitchell,

After graduating from NYU/ Tisch (CAP 21/ Playwright's Horizons), I spent fifteen years in NYC devising new works with various independent theater collectives.

In 2011 I received my MSW from Hunter College in NY and shortly thereafter relocated to Oregon with my husband. When not creating things I work as a therapist in private practice.
