Coaching is a process of getting to the core of what truly matters to you and helping you develop a focused action plan so you can get out of your own way and make it happen.  We will explore common creative blocks (procrastination, resistance, self-sabotage, the inner critic) and identify strategies to help you cope with them more effectively. We will work together to clarify your long term goals and then strategically break them down into achievable monthly, weekly, and daily actions so you feel more grounded and confident in your work.

Coaching is different from therapy in that we focus primarily on where you're heading, not on where you've been.  This is the boots on the ground, nitty gritty work of how to step fully into your artistic self and execute your vision.  The work is solution focused, goal oriented, and direct while never losing sight of the love and joy that brought you to this work in the first place.  



Therapy offers a more process oriented experience where we can dive deeper into the ways your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors may be interfering with your ability to fully realize your artistic vision.  The aim is to guide you deeper into your creative expression and help you gain the confidence you need to be bold, take risks, and do the work you've been called to do in this world.   

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a type of cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on helping you to be present, open up, connect with what matters to you most in this life, and take action in accordance with those values.  I have a particular interest in eating disorder recovery work. With over 15 years of recovery under my belt I know first hand how difficult this process can be. If you're struggling with an eating disorder please know you’re not alone. Audition / Performance "Mind Prep" 

This is a unique offering!  Do you have an audition or an important performance coming up?  Have you had past experiences of "stage fright" that hijacked your performance and/ or enjoyment of sharing your work?  

Well, I have too.  Many, many times.  My performance anxiety, which I also call my "not good enough" voice, practically derailed my career as an artist in my twenties.  It wasn't until I began my work in mental health that I started to learn tools to help me work with this anxiety (which is a natural and normal part of being human!) and not let it boss me around.   

This isn't the type of coaching where I give you monologue tips or offer suggestions on performance style.  This is a therapeutic approach that provides you an opportunity to go deeper, to target what's happening in your mind as you prepare for and execute your performance.  The aim of this work is to give you practical tools that can help you feel more grounded, focused, confident, and EXCITED to share your work.   


Fees & Packages: 

Coaching & Therapy: $125/ 50 minutes  

Audition/ Performance "Mind Prep": $100/ 50 minutes
