artist/ therapist/ coach

"There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly... to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you."

~ Martha Graham

I am a...

writer, performer, theatre maker, therapist, coach...

BIO.

I live in Portland, Oregon, by way of New York City.  I obtained my BFA in Drama at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and my MSW at Hunter College (City University of New York-CUNY).  As a writer and performer I create and produce performance projects that promote social justice and community building through art, storytelling, and music.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have extensive experience working as a crisis worker and therapist in outpatient clinics, Emergency Departments, and college campuses.  I now have a private therapy practice and specialize in the treatment of eating and anxiety related disorders.  I also work with artists and creative professionals to help them overcome barriers they may be experiencing in their creative process.
